Vizio Reviews
Miss Lily Bug just lives to watch the dog shows on Animal Planet, and has been complaining along with my husband about our old gigantic projection TV. The colors are atrocious, they are subdued and it always seems to have a cloud to it. So off we go looking for the best bargain we can for the money we have!
After making inquiries high and low on the internet and in stores, we found the brand Vizio to be what we were searching for! From all the Vizio reviews out there they are dead on! These televisions, whether they are LCD or Plasma, are offered at an excellent price for all the value you receive!
Miss Lily Bug was so impressed with the bright color resolution, and the crisp, clear picture. The colors are so true and vibrant. I don’t think I have seen anything more beautiful either. (Aside from my daughters!) The system was so easy to set up, and the menu navigation is easy as well!
Some people criticize about the fan noise, but I barely hear it at all. The sound is magnificent. It is not like being in a professional surround sound media room, but for the cost it is great! It is also a superb system for video gamers. My daughter has a PS2 and she is enjoying herself with it on this TV instead of the undersized old 19 inch in her room.
Our model is the 46 inch LCD HDTV. We are utterly in love with it, especially in contrast to the old 55 inch 200 lb. waste of space that we had! Miss Lily Bug is in heaven watching all those guys cavorting around the ring!!!
I don’t know if the other Vizio reviews helped you, I surely hope this one did! I have much more information on my lens, please see below.

Sony Dslr A300X Review
The Sony dslr a300x is the hottest camera available. All users agree that the new Live feature and the many other features are just right for all types of photography. It has been referred to as the perfect camera for new photographers and a viable upgrade for experienced photographers as well. Here is the manufacturers overview and a list of the many features.
Manufacturers Review
Sony’s Alpha DSLR-A300: the camera that links you and your subject. For first-time DSLR users, Sony combines superb 10.2-megapixel quality, high-quality DT 55-200mm f/4-5.6 and DT 18-70mm f3.5-5.6 standard zoom lenses, and Live Preview in a large, tilting 2.7-inch LCD monitor for point-and-shoot simplicity. You’ll have super-quick AF response, 3 fps continuous shooting while you see your subject in the viewfinder, and high sensitivity (ISO 3200) for great low-light shots. What’s more, you get simple controls, Creative Style settings and in-camera Super SteadyShot image stabilization that work with every Sony, Carl Zeiss and legacy Minolta a-mount lens. Stamina power for up to 740 shots, Auto Pop-up Flash and many more features make DSLR model an excellent choice for your favorite new hobby.
Features Of The Sony dslr Alpha 300x:
10.2-megapixel Super HAD CCD Superb image quality gives you great DSLR shots right from the start, with a large APS-size CCD imager developed by Sony to expand dynamic range, and minimize noise more effectively for clear, sharp photos even at high sensitivity setting (up to ISO 3200).
Live Preview of your subject The DSLR-A300’s Live Preview mode links you and your subject on a large 2.7-inch LCD screen, for a familiar point-and-shoot style — with super-quick AF response and accurate exposure control to help you catch the perfect moment. In Live Preview mode, the camera bypasses the optical pentaprism mirror to create a live “eye-to-eye” view of loved ones, children, pets and fast-changing scenes.
Tiltable 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD Plus screen A large built-in screen with 2-way angle tilt provides a sharp, clear view of your subject and tilts up or down for low-angle or high-angle monitoring in situations where you want a child-level or overhead shot.
Continuous shooting while viewing The DSLR-A300 lets you shoot continuously at up to 3 frames per second while you see your subject in the viewfinder2, so you never lose track of the action. In JPEG mode, you can shoot up to the limit of your flash memory card; in RAW Burst Mode you can capture up to 6 shots, with intelligent buffer management to allow more shots to be captured without waiting for the buffer to clear.
Smart teleconverter 2x zoom At the touch of a button you can zoom in electronically on your subject, reproducing pixels on a 1:1 basis with no degradation in picture quality. One touch zooms in at 1.4X, the second touch advances to 2X zoom — creating the 35mm equivalent of a 200mm telephoto effect with the DSLR-A300’s standard 18-70mm zoom lens.
Expanded ISO sensitivity A broad sensitivity range from ISO 100 to ISO 3200 enables the DSLR-A300 to capture beautiful color images even in very dim light — with High ISO Noise Reduction technology that reduces picture noise artifacts at high-sensitivity ISO 1600 and ISO 3200 settings by eliminating noise from RAW data after analog-to-digital conversion.
Super SteadyShot in-camera image stabilization Because image stabilization is built into the DSLR-A300, every lens benefits by an advantage of from 2.5 to 3.5 exposure steps. This allows you to shoot effectively with minimum blur even in low light without flash — or adjust exposure control for smaller lens aperture, to increase depth of field and bring both foreground and background into sharp focus.
Bionz image processor The “brain” of the Alpha DSLR-A300 is the advanced Sony Bionz Image Processor, using hardware-based Large Scale Integrated (LSI) circuitry to enhance images with rich tonal reproduction, improved white balance and exposure control, and expanded D-Range Optimizer capabilities. With 2-channel data transfer from CCD to processor, your camera can also respond faster.
1200-zone evaluative metering Exposure information from the image sensor dedicated to Live View is divided into 1200 zones of luminance and RGB color information. In addition D-Range Optimizer technology contributes to judge the scene and then determine the optimum exposure to reproduce images with a more natural look.
Dynamic Range Optimizer To improve results with backlit subjects and recover details hidden in shadows or lost in glare, the DSLR-A300 provides Dynamic Range Optimizer at two levels: Normal DRO, to improve detail using standard gamma curves for fast shot-to-shot response time, or Advanced DRO, to adjust dynamic range area-by-area for the greatest precision.
Anti-Dust technology Changing lenses in a DSLR can allow dust to enter the camera — so to keep the CCD imager cleaner for better pictures, the DSLR-A300 utilizes both static-free anti-dust coating on the CCD filter and anti-dust vibration that automatically shakes the CCD to dislodge dust each time the camera is shut off.
Auto Pop-up flash The camera flash automatically pops up and fires when needed, to help first-time DSLR photographers shoot more effectively. Auto Pop-up works in Auto mode and some scene selection modes; Flash is cancelled in Landscape, Sport or Sunset modes and in “Flash Off” position on the Exposure Mode dial.
Eye-Start autofocus system It begins precision autofocus adjustments the moment you raise the camera to your eye — so unlike some DSLR cameras that don’t start focusing until the shutter button is half-pressed, the Sony DSLR-A300 never slows down your ability to catch fast action.
9-point center cross AF sensor A fast focus motor and improved focus control help bring images into sharp definition more quickly, with predictive focus control that automatically calculates the position of a fast-moving subject.
Scene Selection modes Along with auto exposure, the DSLR-A300 gives you scene selection modes to optimize camera performance for Portrait, Landscape, Macro, Sports, Sunset and Night Portrait/Night View situations.
Creative Style Settings To express your creativity and personal taste, you can adjust contrast, saturation and sharpness settings for any of 8 finishing styles — including Standard, Vivid, Portrait, Landscape, Night View, Sunset, B&W and Adobe RGB modes.
Index and Slide Show Display To quickly review your photos, the DSLR-A300 can display 4, 9 or 25-frame index views — or present automatic slide shows with fade-in/fade-out effect.
High-resolution thumbnails for PhotoTV HD viewing The DSLR-A300 automatically creates high-resolution thumbnail images for viewing on Sony’s BRAVIA HDTV in optimized PhotoTV HD mode, with image format adjustable for standard 3:2 or widescreen 16:9 display.
Function Guide Display On-screen menus are intuitive and easy to use — and a simple Camera Function Display can be activated and operated with one hand using the “Fn” (Function) button and controller button to adjust Flash mode, Autofocus mode, White Balance, Metering mode, AF area and D-Range Optimizer.
Stamina Battery Power In optical viewfinder mode, you can take up to 750 shots3 on a fully charged NP-FM500H InfoLithium battery — and you’ll be able to see about how much power remains in percentage increments, so you can keep shooting in confidence.
High-capacity media options For conveniently storing and sharing your images, the DSLR-A300 accepts CompactFlash Type I/II media and optional Memory Stick Pro Duo media.
AOptional advanced lenses and system accessories Sony’s Alpha system gives you everything you need to expand your creativity in DSLR photography: precision Sony DT zoom lenses and specialty lenses, Sony “G” Series lenses with advanced motorized autofocusing, amazingly bright Carl Zeiss lens designs, professional-quality flash units, and over 16 million Minolta a-mount lenses sold worldwide.

Kdl46xbr6 Sony Bravia Xbr 46 Inch 1080p Hdtv Reviews
The 120 Hz Motionflow technology doubles the video frame rate and guards against blurring, resulting in smooth and fluid movements in action scenes. An Advanced Contrast Enhancer (ACE) circuit uses real time image processing to produce extremely natural images. The Bravia engine reduces noise and projects sharp images with 1920 x 1080p resolution. 24 fps video can be displayed using the 24p True Cinema technology. The KDL-46XBR6 is DMex enabled providing connectivity to optional Bravia Link modules like the Bravia Internet Video Link.
Pros: Viewing directly at the HDTV is great. The picture clarity is awesome. Contrast and black controll gives a well defined sharp picture. Color options are good but it took me a while to set color to the picture I wanted to watch.
Cons: I have to be carefull cleaning the screen, and I have left instructions for my family.
Setting the color is a pain. Changing cable input to HDMI on the back requires the picture color to be set again.. Viewing angle is closer to 90’s.
Summary: 2 week review. First, I tinker with things until I get them the way I want them, drives my wif e crazy.
2nd the TV was priced at $2999, I bought it for $2499, from local dealer. The best price I could get for KDL46Z4100 was$2299, so I picked the XBR6.
I replaced a KDL34 HD VEGA. (TUBE TYPE that had a great picture.)
I had trouble getting the picture color set. And it took a several attempts to get the picture I wanted to view. I adjusted the “color temperature” to Warm 1 and set the “Color space” to wide.
I am now used to the picture and haven’t changed the color in a week.
I am amazed at the color depth, contrast, black , and detail when I watch anything on HD. Even digital HBO looks great.
The inputs on the back of the TV are easy to read
The SONY TV remote is confusing at times and getting to the correct menu can be tricky without the manual. I put the SONY remote away and I’m using the DVR remote at this time.
I like the black frame around the TV being smaller. As a result, the TV doesn’t look as big.
I’d like the viewing angle to bigger. I mean the picture looks very average from the side, greater than 90’s. and can be misleading. My chair is now in “front” of the TV.
Essentially, this “future-proofs” your KDL46XBR6 by creating an expandable platform for connecting to other compatible devices that haven’t even seen the market yet.
And finally, if you are looking to personalize your KDL46XBR6, you can purchase an optional speaker grille in multiple colors.
In sum, the KDL46XBR6 delivers legendary XBR performance via exclusive motion and color technologies. And with the gorgeous piano gloss black finish, you’ll have a wonderful view whether the HDTV is off or on.

The 52″ 1080p Sony Bravia Kdl-52w3000 LCD Hdtv is Simply an Amazing Set
First, let’s talk about how the KDL-52W3000 looks aesthetically. The brush metal matte frame is a classic look that actually absorbs light and does not reflect like the 46V3000 if you found the piano black to be distracting. The stand does not pivot like the 46V2500 does, but that’s only one slight negative thing compared to what this baby can do.
Let’s talk about the picture, the part that everyone wants to know about. Let me say that the picture quality of the Sony Bravia KDL-52W3000 LCD HDTV is simply amazing in HD. The picture is vivid and the Live Color Creation “gimmick” is no gimmick. Colors are rich, vivid, and life like to the point that it’s almost 3D, especially when watching animated films like Ratatouille or Cars. The viewing angle is excellent and the screen has no glares and has no problem playing in a sunlit room.
I recommend you use HDMI 1.3 Category 2 cables so that the TV can display colors better. Standard definition is fine and will not terrify you like most LCD HDTVs out there. Watching DVD is almost HD like when paired with the up-converting Oppo DVD player. The refresh rate is 60hz but there is little to no difference when compared side by side with the 120hz XBR4. Motion blurring is usually normal in LCD TVs, but the Sony Bravia KDL-52W3000 does a good job at keeping it to a minimum. If you do catch any blurring, try turning off Noise Reduction to eliminate it.
The Sony Bravia KDL-52W3000’s audio quality is above average especially if you customize the sound yourself, turn on the S-Force Front Surround, and raise the voice boost. The stock TV speakers are not going to make you feel like you’re in a movie theater, but it’s good enough if you’re not planning to get a home theater although you should. The Sony DAV-HDX500/i BRAVIA Home Theater System is a good one.
Get the 52″ Sony Bravia KDL-52W3000 LCD HDTV if the XBR4 is too expensive. This set is the next best thing if it falls within your budget. Remember to buy HDMI 1.3 cables to get the best colors possible because this TV supports it. Have fun and don’t forget to look away from the TV and get up to walk around once in a while because this TV will **** you into the world that you’re watching like you’ve been looking through a window the whole time.

Pioneer HDTV Reviews: A Thing Of the Past
Why Pioneer Stopped Production
A statement from the authorities in Pioneer suggests that Pioneer was more interested in expanding their business in car navigation, electronics and audio A/V products. Although this has remained the mainstay of Pioneer, yet its Plasma TVs were very good. The Plasma TVs have set new standards. Any new product will surely be compared with the Kuro line. The Pioneer HDTV reviews were a testimony of the class of Pioneer TVs. But being very expensive has led to the undoing of Pioneer TVs. Due to the recent recession; few people will opt for the highly priced TVs. The Pioneer TV reviews also suggest the same.
What About After-Sales Service?
The closing down of the Pioneer TVs has created a flutter among the people who already own a Pioneer TV. They are afraid that if anything goes wrong with the TVs, there will be no one to turn to. But the Pioneer administration has put all fears to rest. You can continue to get good service from the company. You can also read the Pioneer HDTV reviews and still buy Pioneer TVs till the day it is completely closed down. Pioneer promises to look after the needs of the already sold Pioneer TVs. Those dependent on Pioneer TV reviews can still buy a Pioneer TV for it will be 2010 before all operations are closed down. You can take advantage of all the warranties that you have.
A Change in Trends
With heavy influx of cheaper HDTVs from other manufacturers who provide state-of-the-art technologies for their products, Pioneer has suffered a setback. But it seems like yesterday when Pioneer HDTV reviews fetched great ratings and the TVs won many awards. But with the entry of LEDs and OLEDs, Pioneer HDTVs seem to be taking a backseat and hence the decision to quit. A thorough perusal of the Pioneer TV reviews will give you a good idea about why Pioneer HDTVs are ranked among the best in the world.
Pioneer TVs are the Best In The World
Among the many models, the KRP-500A is among the best. This 50-inch HDTV is an unbelievably 64mm thick and look like a piece of art on your wall. Pioneer HDTV reviews will tell you that with just one cable and a separate media unit, the connectivity options are improved. Yet it maintains its good looks. The contrast ratio and black levels surpass imagination. They are the true reference panels for comparing other TVs. It is truly sad that the world will lose such good quality. We will no longer rave and rant in the Pioneer TV reviews. Here is hoping that Pioneer will once again return to dominate the HDTV world again.

::: Terms Used in High Definition TV set Reviews :::
To maximize the benefits of an High Definition TV set review and arrive at an informed decision in buying your own high-definition television, you need to understand the terms that describe High Definition television sets. High Definition TV set, as you may know by now, stands for “high definition television”. This technology allows consumers to play games and watch movies or television shows with a wider and clearer image and sound. As you may hear from computer, camera or television specifications, pixels are the smallest elements of a monitor display or television picture. These pixels are comprised of blue, green and red elements. When reading an High Definition TV set review, pixels usually come with small, square and closely placed together, compared to a regular or analog TV. Because of this, an High Definition TV set yields five times better visual than other television formats. Usually you will here this rapped up in the resolution.
Another factor being rated with High Definition TV set reviews is the aspect ratio. This ratio is about the screen width versus the screen height. Just like theater displays, an High Definition TV set’s aspect ratio is set at 16:9, compared to analog televisions with a ratio of 4:3.
When you see a “line”, this means a row of pixels. The standard analog television displays 480 lines with 720 pixels on each line (with 345,600 pixels used). An High Definition TV set can display up to 1024 lines with 1920 pixels used on each line, with 2,073,600 pixels used.
